Traveling in small towns gives opportunities to try mom and pop type restaurants. My wife and I are so glad we stopped in. This place is pure magic. The potato enchiladas are next level. We ended up buying two additional plates the food was so delicious!!!! If I could bottle up the sauce in gallon jugs I would. The city is redoing the streets but finding this place made my weekend!!! A++++
Ate here for lunch today, charro beans were cold and undercooked with no flavor, the pork street tacos were tender but also lacked flavor/seasoning. Chips and salsa was okay. Service was decent. Was very disappointed considering this place has a 5 star Google rating and after eating here it really made me wonder how on earth thats possible. Maybe they have a new cook? Maybe it was an off day? Who knows, overall very disappointing.
The crispy tacos are delicious, the salsa, guacamole and chips are delightful. Ricardo and his team are attentive and you can find menudo on the menu. Check it out on Historic Main Street in Denison, TX.
